Dr. Charles Goode Gomillion was the president of the Tuskegee Civic Association, dean of students at Tuskegee Institute, and lead plaintiff in the landmark civil rights case Gomillion v. Lightfoot, in which the Supreme Court ruled gerrymandering unconstitutional.
