Alex Forist, Curator at the Grand Rapids Public Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan, recently wrote “My museum recently received an IMLS grant to digitize ~5,000 glass lantern slides in our collections, many of which haven’t been used or examined in decades. While working on this project we have just recently come across a group of 61 lantern slides which appear to depict the Tuskegee Institute in the late 19th or early 20th century.” Please go to this link for further information:
