Lantern Slides Found at Grand Rapids Public Museum

Alex Forist, Curator at the Grand Rapids Public Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan, recently wrote “My museum recently received an IMLS grant to digitize ~5,000 glass lantern slides in our collections, many of which haven’t been used or examined in decades. While working on this project we have just recently come across a group of 61 lantern slides which appear to depict¬†the Tuskegee Institute in the late 19th or early 20th century.” Please go to this link for further information:
